Inside Out. A symphony.

The Art of Unravelling: Turning Inner Noise into Outward Wonder
We all carry it a tangled, vibrant explosion of “inner noise.” It’s the chaotic mix of half-formed thoughts, sudden emotions, and the persistent hum of daily life. Usually, we try to keep a lid on it, tucked away in the cardboard boxes of our minds. But what happens when we let it spill out?
Inside Out is a perfect metaphor for the transformative power of art. It’s a literal “burst” of color and form, where the messy internal becomes a tangible external.

Drawing Out the Outline
Art acts as a vessel for the intangible. When we create whether it’s a sketch, a poem, or a sculpture made of paper scraps we are essentially tracing the silhouette of our inner world. What felt like an overwhelming blur in our hearts suddenly has a shape. We can see the sharp zig-zags of anxiety, the soft loops of hope, and the bold, straight lines of our convictions.

A Journey Guided by Curiosity
Once the noise is “out there,” something notable happens: reflection begins. By externalising our thoughts, we shift from being trapped by them to being curious about them. We start to ask:

  1. I like thinking about this from your perspective. Sometimes I can’t sleep, my thoughts are so chaotic. But when I write them down, they do form a shape that I can come back to with prunning shears during the day. Developing the ability to be without judging my own existence feels like it will take a lifetime to learn. Art helps.
